Many don’t know that when a child with gifted- “overexcitabilities” has a thought/idea/sensation/
emotion/movement-need, the child’s whole system may be living it in ways that are advanced beyond their capacity to process. When an adult can understand which of the child’s overexcitabilities are at play and how, and share it with the child, the safety and relationship necessary for learning can develop.
